Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Lidhult could be a piece of cake or it could drag on forever. We've put together some useful travel tips that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a comfortable experience if you bring the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare pair of socks and a good novel. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to bring your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp or pointed objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and strong acids, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim is to be as comfortable as you can. Pick shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to take a pullover in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers during long-distance flights. Lower your risks by drinking water, keeping your ankles and legs moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
