If you're poorly prepared, airports and flying can be challenging. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks for a pleasant start to your getaway in Losser. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be a great experience if you carry the right stuff. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a magazine or two. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a comfy neck pillow as well. Lastly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and fuels, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and choose shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to pull on and off.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your legs and feet often.
