We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be cruising through the airport and discovering Prasas in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack your passport, travel docs, bank cards and daily medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a tablet filled with your favorite movies are some great options. If you plan to take a quick snooze, a neck pillow and some earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some facial wipes to ensure you arrive at your destination looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fireworks, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when choosing what to wear on board. Consider your footwear with care too, as swollen feet are quite common. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are your best bet.
- A serious condition by the name of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Doing regular foot and leg exercises in your seat helps to prevent this from occurring. Wearing a good-quality pair of compression socks may also help.
