Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Rif could be completely stress-free or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some useful hints that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a comfortable experience if you carry the right gear. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare set of clothes and a few magazines. Next, find a spot in your bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, your important medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel papers and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Go for easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, natural fibers and don't forget to take a jacket in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
