If you're poorly prepared, traveling can be overwhelming. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these handy tips and enjoy a comfortable start to your time in Zeya. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a stress-free experience if you've got all the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean set of clothes and a good novel. Next, leave space in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, any daily medications and maybe a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, be sure to bring your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and poisons, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and choose shoes that are flat, enclosed and easy to take on and off.
- Most of us have heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lessen your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks and move your legs and feet often.
