“We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage next to The Weary Friar!! The pub staff were amazing, so friendly! And the food was delicious! Definitely a place to return to!!!! ”
“This is a quaint little place, convenient for a quick no frills overnight stay.
The car park had travelling contractors vans in it in the early evening and all gone before breakfast that starts at 8am.
Breakfast is prepared to order, cereal and full English that was very nice.”

“I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage.
However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside.
The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky!
We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good.
