“The Lodge at Tellico is a must-stay for motorcyclists. The most important part is the enclosed garage unit where you can park your bike safely and out of the weather. The new owners have put time and money into updating and upgrading the accommodations, grounds, and facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our standard room came with a small table and chairs, coffeemaker, TV, dresser with a helmet shelf, a place to hang our jackets and clothes, sofa, and king-size bed. Plenty of room to sit...

“Expedia was who we booked through and the room was fine but they put us in a Handicap room even though they had plenty of other rooms ..and I always love the showers at Hampton Inns, and this was not a pleasant experience other than that it was great !! when you are handicapped I am sure it is nice, the staff and the room was overall great ! Just that flooding floor shower really ruined it for me !”

“We checked in with our reservation to the last room available. We dropped our stuff in the room that had an interesting odor only to head back out. Once we walked out of the room I realized the door doesn’t lock. Not only from the outside but the inside as well. We let the front desk know that we can’t stay in a room that does not lock we were told that it is their last room available and there will not be a maintenance person around for a few days because it’s Fourth of July weekend. “The room was very clean but the outside area was not. Might have been due rain but the area for parking was very muddy. We didn't feel the outside or even the pictures of the window view represented in the advertisement truly represented the experience. It did not feel secluded and the noise from traffic was not what we expected. We didn't have communication with any staff so can't comment on that. Bed was very comfortable. “Room was clean and the hotel is in a good location near downtown. There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby. Its a older hotel with rooms entered from the outside. Great for a one night stay.”

“I stayed in the cottage for 3 nights with a friend of mine. It was a perfect base for us to explore the nearby mountain roads for daily drives, such as the Tail of the Dragon. Bill was super friendly at the front desk and gave us helpful tips such as a hike to a nearby amazing waterfall. “Would have liked to have had better mattress on the beds Seemed like they were to soft and not very comfortable You could almost feel the springs when you put your weight on them Just seemed like inexpensive mattresses Other than that the stay was great One other thing the hot tub kept saying something about the primary filter needing to be looked at ”

“Dinner was excellent with great service. Breakfast was ok. Picnic lunches were good. Place needs a deep cleaning. King room bed was comfortable but the floor carpet was super dirty. Guests walking upstairs generates lots of squeaking. Summer room was dirty with very old sofas. We felt walking around chairs were dusty and the property should be in better condition given the prices.”
