"Buildings are very old, needs updating and overall maintenance. Our room was dirty, the refrigerator was very dirty. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes. Air conditioning unit not working properly and had a musty smell when it was on. The building next door which looked like it was part of the hotel had garbage overflowing for the two days we stayed there. Would not stay here again."

"The room was updated and clean. Shower clean and very functional, but the beds were hard as a rock. Our family of 3 all barely slept and woke up with sore backs. Personally i would rather take a old dated bathroom if the bed was comfortable."

"I didn’t even get to stay. I lost money!! The office was closed when I arrived. There was a paper on the door to call. I called that number and no one answered. Got a number from online and someone answered and gave me another number to call for the lockbox code to actually get in the room. Called that number and no answer. It was 9:30lm and the kids were restless and tired. We were in the middle of no where without a car in the parking lot except a white pickup. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel! I ended up leaving and having to pay more money for A FEW HOURS to another hotel since we were leaving in the morning. I never even got into my room. I expected contactless check in however I didnt expect to have NO ONE answer the phone to get me into my room. Even Expedia tried calling 4xs!!! With no success. This hotel is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay!!"

"Everything was great. Since out last stay there they have basically done a total remodel but did keep the charm of country (interior decor is natural flair brick, shipboard, rock, barn doors, new flooring, large showers, nice updates. They have added an excellent change to their restaurant including huge dining area, views, Sunday brunch/buffet, good variety of foods. Also nice store, bakery type area, and cafe. Definitely will go back. "
