The staff were lovely. the room was ok, was offered a family room with seperate bedroom which was great for the kids, aswell as a lovely surprise of a large selection box on their beds for christmas. (I didnt get one though :( ) Suggestions: I would suggest maybe a small fridge in the rooms. The changing rooms in the Pool area were freezing. Maybe a continental choice for breakfast as there was only fried or cereal, no ham/cheese/croissants etc and for a high end hotel it was rather poor for breakfast. The lights on the road and signage was not very clear, maybe a large, lit sign as late at night on a country road it was very hard to see the entrance. The Overall experience was good though over Christmas.

We had a great weekend at the hotel.really chilled and relaxed will def return and this will be our relaxing retreat!!!! Lovey garden nice hrd working staff cant fault it and will return soon!!!!

A nice hotel with friendly staff

A nice hotel with friendly staff. A restaurant and bar, a grassed garden area and a large parking area. Rooms Comfortable, with a shower and bath. Minor maintenance issues in our room with loose toilet seat, curtain off of rail and dirty carpets that need sorting.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Double bed very comfy, single bed far too soft for an adult, fine for a small child. Rooms would benefit from a deep clean. The building is looking tired (visible bubbling on the walls, discoloured plug holes, tatty bed bases) and needs refreshing. For a spa day I would be disappointed, for a base to explore the area it was fine. The pool was a key factor in choosing this hotel.

ROOMS IN MUCH NEED OF UPDATING

Friendly, helpful staff but don't seem to have many. First room we were given (Rm 14), the springs of the mattress were visible under the duvet!! Told the guy on Reception we wanted another room. Mattress was rock hard but no springs (Rm 70). No side lights or table lamps in this room. Shower was great. Quite large walk in shower & rainbiw shower. Tea, coffee, kettle in room. Very basic decor and very basic room. Evening meal was delicious and breakfast was full English, toast, cereals and fruit. Again, very nice. Just a shame about the rooms.

Just got home from a 3 night stay staying at the Mollington Chester , we had a lovely stay , the family room was dated but was clean and very spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpfull, bar area was lovely and we used the pool once , which was lovely , would definitely stay again if we visit the area again

Excellent hotel in a very nice setting, location is very quiet and peaceful for a nice break. The hotel has a nice size pool with jacuzzi hot tub and sauna which is definitely a luxury. Good selections for breakfast and dinner including room service if you prefer, but overall I have to say the staff are excellent - my partner and I have stayed here before and the staff are extremely polite and personable which adds to the charm of the hotel!

The rooms were outdated and filthy. We had to lay bath towels on the floor to walk around the carpet was so stained and dirty. Curtains hanging down half off their hooks, the mattress had to have been as old as I was. Staff were friendly and the grounds and pool were nice but would never stay there again.

Our stay was ok. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and using the swimming pool. Didnt eat in the restaurant as wasnt much choice so had to order a takeaway. Service was ok. Had to wait a while to be served at the bar. Not enough staff. Drinks extremely over priced, £19.50 for 1 beer and a double gin and tonic. Shocking.

A lovely hotel with good facilities in the SPA. My only complaint was the WIFI in my room (057) was intermittent and did actually fail one night which did annoy some of the guests.
