Everything about the hotel was wonderful! The bedding was cozy. The shower was warm and powerful. It was a wonderful location. The room keys had depictions of past “Graduates” of the local college. 10 out of 10 experience!

Loved a lot about my stay here…cozy location in Evanston, safe and walkable. I chose a queen room and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was! Great mattress, great shower. Did not love the tiny elevator but it’s a boutique hotel and it works. I enjoyed the restaurant as well, and found the staff pleasant and friendly. I will definitely return!

My wife and I stayed at this property while visiting our son who was graduating from Northwestern University. The location to the university is fantastic. We also enjoyed how close the hotel is to the lake and the cycling/walking trail next to it. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to many great restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the rocking chairs in front of the hotel which is on a quiet street. The hotel provides a few 3-speed bicycles that are free to borrow but they are in disrepair (the one I borrowed had two broken spokes on the rear wheel). I suspect we were provided with a less than optimal room because we booked through Expedia (our room was across the hall from the service elevator and our view out of the window was the fire escape and a roof top. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed my three nights stay here while i was in town for a concert. the room was lovely. the only complaint regarding the room was the floors. one can tell it was not vacuumed and the bathroom floor wasn't swept or mopped due to the hairs found. Staff was friendly, at least some of them were. there was one lady with glasses, long black hair at the check in desk who was very unprofessional when my friend and i needed some assistance. the young lady was held occupied talking with another staff lady from the breakfast station as they only kept staring at my friend and i with disgusted looks and no assistance when asking for help regarding our luggage, checking out, and answering some questions we had.
