“On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. ”

“I would not recommend this property which I will explain below. When you arrive at the property you go through a corridor to a courtyard that has 4 rooms. The courtyard was nice but unfortunately it is all gravel which makes pulling suitcases difficult. The twin room is called the Hobbit Hole and it truly is. This is a room about the size of a walk in closet with a bed squeezed in horizontally and one vertically, neither bed has room for a night stand or lamp. There is a small desk between the...

“Lovely room, pub delightful, staff very accommodating , breakfast lovely and if wanted could have fully cooked but continental breakfast more than adequate. Enjoyed our lovely time there.”

“Upon arrival we were given a room beside the elevator and main door to the floor. The room smelled and the door from the elevator area would bang every time someone came through. We asked for another room and the less than pleasant staff member did give us a new room which we were appreciative of until we walked in. The overpowering smell of chemical cleaner was intense. “Very clean rooms and wonderful stay!”

“Everything was excellent except the room servicing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and meal service was v good. The only disappointments were the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The room needed vacuuming and the loo and shower needed a good clean. Also, cups, glasses and tea hadn’t been replenished. Oh, and when we returned from sightseeing on Sat evening we couldn’t get a space in the carpark as it was full of pub visitors. Would be good if they had spaces...
