"This is more like a 4.5 because the breakfast buffet isn't particularly... great. But otherwise, the room we had was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The staff was also very courteous and attentive. One tip though: try to get familiar with the neighbourhood at the beginning of your stay because it's such a busy area and it can be confusing especially if you want to get to Kyoto Station on foot."

"Very clean room, they upgraded us for free so we can have three beds instead of two. They gave combs, toothbrush n tooth paste, shsvers, and slippers. The water pressure was perfect. It’s right next to the Kyoto station where you can shop and eat. It was easy check in and out, I didn’t have to speak to anyone"

"The staff welcomed us the minute we stepped into the lobby. Rather than standing at the reception desk, they sit with you at a table and you check-in. The onsen is nice and clean, our room was a good size, and the room amenities are replenished daily. I would stay here again. "

"If you have staid in an Apa before you probably know what you are in for, but overall solid value! Big bed, clean and compact. Bathroom is modular a bit small by western standards but still very usable and clean! No complaints here!"
