Chugoku, Japan hotel rooms at the Independent

"Chose this hotel because it is close to the train station. That is its main strength. Tiny room with no mirror, bed against the wall. Staff told me that my room on 19 was better quality than our children’s room on 18, but that was completely incorrect. Lounge closed at 9:00, not worth it. Buffet breakfast was mid. At least it was close to the train station."

"Excellent hotel in downtown Hiroshima right next to the peace Memorial and steps from public transport and great food options. The room was spacious and quiet. The mattress and pillows a little saggy but that didn't stop a great night's sleep. Highly recommended."

"This is a newer hotel that’s attached to the Hiroshima Train Station. Talk about convenience! Our room was small but we decided not to upgrade since we were there during Golden Week which meant hotel prices were higher than usual. Breakfast buffet was pricey but we decided to take advantage of it, again, due to convenience. The staff were all very friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again."
