โThe property is set in the tiny village of San Sano, surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards. Beautiful! The property itself is in excellent condition even though it is in the remains of a long destroyed castle. The rooms were ample sized and clean. The on site pool was well maintained and had lounge chairs with umbrellas surrounding it. The staff was super nice and helpful. Morning breakfast ( included) and light dinner (at an extra cost) were tasty. The light dinners were prepared outside...
โA lovely retreat - quiet and serene. The grounds of the villa are amazing and all of the staff are lovely. Panzano is a short and scenic 20 minute walk away. We wish we could have stayed longer! โ

"I stayed in the smallest room, but it had two sets of stairs insideโone right after entering and another to reach the bed. It was a bit inconvenient, especially for someone like me with knee issues. If stairs are a concern, I highly recommend requesting a stair-free room in advance.
The room was quite compact, so there wasnโt much space to fully open large suitcases. However, it had plenty of windows, which let in the fresh Tuscan air and made the room feel brighter.
The staff were friendly, the garden was lovely and full of charm, and there was ample space for parking. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was especially delicious and memorableโhighly recommend it! Breakfast, on the other hand, was just okay."
