Fabulous hotel just off the sea front in Clacton with off street parking. My room was large and well furnished. Bed was so comfy and the bedding was crisp and white. Bathroom was big as well with a lovely selection of toiletries and big fluffy towels. I had cooked breakfast which was freshly made to order and delicious. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and proud of their hotel. I canโ€™t recommend it highly enough.

The parking was right in front of the hotel and was free, the breakfast was great and fresh, there was stuff in the room to make coffee or tea also cookies and chocolate , nice place to stay within minutes to the beach/pier, very sweet people working there

Went to Clacton on Sea to visit family and stayed one night at this lovely hotel. The owners were unbelievably friendly and have been in business since 1963. Iโ€™ve never seen such a beautiful clean bathroom and Iโ€™ve stayed in a lot of hotels. The breakfast was included and was unbelievable homemade with such an incredible amount of items to choose from and delicious. Apparently the owner cooks it up himself. . I parked right outside the door, which was amazing and very safe and secure as you have your own key to get in at night two doors in the frontโ€” the room was spotless. There were some nice touches also. Very nice bath gel.. a very, very hot shower if you wanted it. Water in the fridge even a welcome chocolate bar.. do not hesitate to stay here if you are in town. I will definitely be visiting again.!

Charming place with friendly hosts. Wide choice of breakfast options, was very impressed with the fruit selection and cooked to order breakfasts. Room was spotless and well stocked with toiletries and refreshments. Great location, within a short walking distance of the pier and shops.

Great stay, budget price

Everything here was done with care, attention and pride. Such generous hosts with really good quality drinks in the room. Breakfast was so good with lovely mixed good quality berries and fruits. Cooked breakfasts were to order. Amazing quality for a budget price.

This is like going to your favorite Auntโ€™s house to stay. Everything is top notch- from the cleanliness to the friendliness. Carol and Peter will adopt you as their own, even (literally) cooking breakfast to order each morning. Iโ€™d come here every weekend if I could!
