"We knew going in this was a quick stop and were not expecting the Ritz. This hotel was far worse than I could have imagined. The property was horribly kept on the out side. Inside smelled like stale cigarettes from years past. The room had blood stains on the wall, hair in the tub drain, sticky spots on the carpet, lights that flickered terribly, AC barely functioned, shower heads were caked with soap scum, and no continental breakfast as advertised (not that we would have eaten it anyway)....

"Property was as described/expected. We arrived at 7:02 and were charged the $25 late check-in fee. Although it did ask for guests to contact the office if arriving after 7 pm, we did not expect a less than 5 min. arrival time (with manager still in the locked office) to receive such inflexible treatment (we were told that the late fee was computer-based and could not be changed). We accepted this fee without any complaint. No kindness- strictly business."
