"The room was clean and well maintained, but staff could have been more informative about how to control the accent lighting in the room, as we didn’t know how to turn it off. The beds were comfortable, slightly softer than most. The area was quiet. The cooked breakfast was disappointing because it was all gone when we arrived at 8:15; the only options available were cold cereal, bagels, toast, and waffles, which you have to make yourself, and there wasn’t much variety to choose from. Over all it was A good place to stay and rest compared to others. "

"Room was hot upon entering, had to turn AC on, cooled off pretty quick. Room curtain drapes were dirty and stained as if there had been water leak. Room beds were small rather than being queen-size for suite. Kitchen sink did not work. Ammenties were not sufficient for 4 people. Shower needed new shower head as it did not put out water as should and ceiling had been patched and still needed painting. We could hear the lobby door open and close as we were on second floor above front lobby. Overall we were able to get some rest but room could use some maintenance. "

"This resort was a slice of Heaven in an area that feels quite remote. The check in is amazing because they just text you a code to get into your room so you don’t have to go to a main desk. The room felt massive and was extremely clean&gorgeous. There was a mini fridge that kept our food perfectly cold, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds were well cared for, and just down the block we found a beautiful river. They were very welcoming to my dog, who I brought to get him out of the house while we were having work done. Checking out was a breeze, it was a simple text. If you want to get away and not talk to anyone, this is very possible here. But if you like to socialize, there were quite a few families hanging out in the main area playing games and talking. It’s not a party zone, at all, so if that’s what you’re looking for (I definitely wasn’t) then this is not the place for you. It was soul restoring, for sure. I plan to go back at least twice a year.The only thing I was confused about was that it said there was a $25 credit per day, but no one mentioned where to use that at check in (via text), so I asked and was told to use it in the self serve bodega for snacks or merch, but no instructions on how to do so, so I was unable to use that. There should be better information on that, without asking. No one entered my room to make the bed, pick up towels or trash so that was weird, but they did pick up my trash when I messaged.Wonderful stay, will be back again! "

"Prepare to relax. No TV. No phones. No hair dryers. Dog and cat-friendly to the extreme, which was fine with us. The weather was beautiful, so we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the town pass by, or having our morning coffee on the banks of the Paluxy River, or dining at the Tavern at night. Everyone was friendly. The manager Pam was attentive to our needs and questions. It’s in the heart of old downtown Glen Rose, which was fun to explore. We’ll be back."

"Our stay at Day Inn was ok. The room was clean although warm as the ac was not going when we checked in. It did cool down fairly quickly. We reserved two rooms with the intention of the second room being a double queen but they didn’t have any available due to renovations. That was not listed disclosed anywhere."
