"room was huge.
really pleased to have fridge in my room.
chair & side table provided.
good air conditioning.
modern bathroom.
i would definitely stay there again. "
"Excellent location. Cabot circus literally across the road. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good.
Room was average clean. Underside of bath handle was gross. Corners of room dusty and set of daughter's asthma when she was hiding there.
Beds are very springy. Rooms very warm, air con limited. Shower tap was not working properly so water was very hot. Rooms quiet or a hotel next to a main road.
Water dispensers on each floor which was good.
Would not stay again. Slept badly and room not 4*."
"Disappointed with some of the trip as I was told this was a high level hotel with real distinction.
£25 to park my car in car park for the overnight stay????
On arrival my room was not ready at 1:30pm & was promised I would be called when it was ready. Eventually after 3 o’clock I went back to ask about my room and was told I could’ve been given a room when I first came that was ready but just mine wasn’t ready yet. The staff member didn’t understand why I hadn’t been offered this option. I had ordered an oat milk. I had ordered an oat milk cappuccino and told them it had to be Sawyer or oat and was then served a cows milk cappuccino. Only when I tried it did I question it with the staff who confirmed it was not out milk. Only after this had happened did she ask me if I had an allergy. My room was old-fashioned but suitable and the bed and pillow is comfortable. Wi-Fi was okay and adequate speed. When I wanted an evening meal and rang to 2 of the restaurants, I would have to wait over an hour to be able to get a meal and at 9 pm for one of them was way too late. I was told to go to Merlin spa where I could eat and need no reservation but it really only had a burger, chicken wings and some sandwiches to eat. The chicken wings were okay but nothing special at £15 with chips included. The best part of the entire trip was the excellent breakfast which was phenomenal and extremely high-quality."
"Let’s start with the hotel itself, it is stunning, tucked away but also walking distance from pretty much everything, the main lobby is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and easy to get to.
The room - It was one of the courtyard rooms, it was spacious, clean, well-appointed and the bed was wonderful, the courtyard is accessible from the room itself through some French doors and very private, it has a good sized TV and the bathroom was wonderful, they give you good quality loo paper (Yes, that’s more important than you think.) Tea and coffee with a coffee machine and the room even had a radio. All in all, 10/10.
The Bar – It is a small personal bar, but there are lounges to relax so plenty of space even though it feels personal, a huge selection of drinks and cocktails to choose from and expertly put together and severed by staff that know what they are doing, we will talk about them soon.
The Restaurant – We had breakfast and 1 evening meal here, and the food was amazing, good quality and cooked to perfection, and excellent range to choose from, good portion sizes and served quickly without being rushed.
The Staff – Well what can I say? The staff were second to none, from the minute we walked throu"
