Handicapped accessible was for me the best feature because I have fallen down few days before and my knees were hurting me. The included breakfast was very good and I enjoyed a variety of foods.

The hotel would be great with some basic update: fridge didn’t work, room key is still a traditional one, some reception desk personnel should improve their attitude. The swimming pool and the view are great!

Good for a couple of days

Old hotel type which would need a modernization of its rooms. Very confortable bed, nice view of cluj from the balcony. The hotel has a sport center and a semi olympic pool ( free) opening at 6.00 in the morning. Breakfast is very poor. Not very much choice. As we were not in season many of the menu dishes were not available

Disappointing

A disappointing experience. The hotel is soviet era and is poorly presented. Very dark unappealing reception, bar and dining room. The room was adequate however far too hot with no way to regulate temperature. It would be a sauna in High summer! The shower head bracket was broken so I was forced to hand hold the shower head. The spa facilities were good, with sauna and steam room and 5 lane 25m lap pool. Food was adequate but the dining area dreary.

Nice view of city from room, comfortable but dated

My room was decent overall. A great view of the city! Hotel is comfortable but a bit dated. It could use some renovation. I wouldn't rule out staying here again.

Unfriendly receptionist, stuck inside elevator without a ventilation for 30 minutes. We were cursed out by the receptionist because we got stuck inside the elevator 😂 Small rooms . Not a 4 star Hotel. Total disappointment! Stay away!

The hotel is quite oldie I would say and it really needs a nice refurbish. At least it is clean, the location is special and the choice at the breakfast is quite wide comparing to 3 star hotel.

On my way back home, a stay near the airport

Needing a hotel the night before my flight back home, I chose Hotel Belvedere. It isn't far from the airport and is conveniently located on the other side of the river compared to city centre. The hotel serves good food and there are some restaurants a short walk away. There is a nice view over the city centre behind the hotel.

Pool scam

Average overall. Huge parking lot, terraces in every room. Double bed room is not spaceous. Poor recepcion service, swimming pool is outsourced, and the description didn't include their demand to have swimming cap, or you can not enter the pool. Therefore people are scammed to by the cap for 5 euros at the pool recepcion. Anyway, you can use sauna and hammam, but not the pool itself.

The hotel is on a hill so rooms provide a beautiful view over the city. It is at walking distance to the center. The rooms are nice and clean. Personnel is helpful. Food is descent. A great benefit is the free access as hotel guest to the World Class gym with great equipment and the 25 meter swimming pool.
