Umaya Resort & Adventures

"Umaya is incredible and we loved our stay there. There were a few issues with the original room (WiFi didn’t work and no plugs) and so we were upgraded to a beach front apartment. The views were glorious. The bedrooms are really spacious and beds are comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. The pools were great and really clean. You can borrow kayaks for free. All of the staff were really kind and friendly."

"This beautiful property is a hidden gem. The staff was warm, welcoming, and accommodating and the grounds are beautiful. There was not a ton of other guest which was nice to keep a relaxing vibe but some of the activities were limited. You could not enjoy the ocean because of the accumulation of sargassum and the water pressure needed to be consistently stronger. Despite this, I would gladly return and highly recommend Itz’ana for your next Belizean vacay!"

"The rooms are modern with TV, fridge and coffee maker with capsule provided. Very spacious bathroom with big walk-in shower. Cold AC and ceiling fan in each room. Expansive your own outdoor patio. Nice /clean pool with the bar and pizza maker very nearby. Prices on drinks and food are reasonable. We use room service and order all meals into the room. Amazing see pier with two story at the end and the bar. My twin boys jump all the time from there into the see. Every night staff making a fire pit and provided with marshmallows and sticks. Fill very safe inside and outside the resort. Perfect place for family with small children(s). Highly recommended...great location, amenities and prices compare to AIRNB/VRBO rentals."

"Arrived late after communicating with the desk staff that I may arrive after the cutoff. Was able to get to my room and get some food before the resturant closed. The roof bar had a nice view and the pools and beach were well maintained except for a large hole in the surface area of one of the wadding areas. The people were friendly and accommodating and the area was nice. All said a good experience."

"We rented a home that was managed by the Lodge atjaguar reef with access to all of the facilities and amenities at the Lodge. The home was spacious and comfortable. The lodge staff was very much available and accommodating. I’d stay again and recommend it."

"We had a 1 kind bed with couch room and it was perfect!! We really enjoyed the pool and activities. The staff were so kind too, from the security guard to the Rhum Shack folk. I already miss it!"
