โQuinta da Vacaria was absolutely wonderful. The views from the hotel of the Douro terrain is magical. The staff is friendly and helpful which makes the visit extra special. An added bonus is the wine making facility on the property. We enjoyed a tour of the winery and tasted their wines in the perfect setting. โ
โDonโt be fooled by the drive down to the driveway doors. Once they open, the property is beautiful. Common area for leisure and dining very tastefully decorated. Our room was very clean and spacious. Would highly recommend this place for affordable accommodation. Manuela suggested we eat at a restaurant down the street(Cancelas) what a wonderful place to eat. One portion was enough for 2. The bacalhau with the restaurant special sauce was delicious. โ

โI so wish I had more than one night. The staff (2eonderful ladies) at the front desk were amazing. They have a local cab driver who is remarkable. Wonderful breakfast, beautiful grounds and I easily would have paid double for my incredible suite. Need to treat and pamper yourself ??? This is the place !!!! โ
