“The property is excellent and very safe in the building but the car park is very shady with druggies in the corners.”

The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...

“Room was quite superior! Staff accommodating and friendly. Fleece Inn pub was delightful and great food. Bed was very comfortable. Mini-fridge and microwave nice. Struggled with the expresso machine.”

“The main road is noisy until the traffic dies down later on in the evening. The metal framed windows, even when shut, let through a high volume of road traffic noise. It was a period of unusually high temperatures by day and night when we stayed and the room we stayed in was in the loft space and therefore really warm and so the windows had to be kept open most of the time. This is by no means a complaint merely a note for other people who stay in the loft apartment who may not be as comfortable...

“We loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. All in all, an excellent place to stay. Thank you. ”

“Overall great location and a lovely little flat. There is also a lovely little patio area at the back (although unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough to enjoy it) The owner is also very responsive with getting back to any messages Slight negatives - access code wasn't sent in advance (although they did reply immediately when I messaged to request it). Bed was broken and very uncomfortable. It would also be nice if more toiletries were provided (most similarly priced properties provide...

“The cottage was very comfy and very clean. Debs was lovely and made such a fuss of our puppy. The pub was welcoming and again everyone made our puppy feel welcome which we were worried about. ”

“Pleasant and helpful staff. Courtyard rooms compact, but enough room for our stay, with comfy beds. Be aware all courtyard rooms are dog friendly. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice.”

“It’s more than a Golf hotel. The club house provides a decent bar food menu from Breakfast at 7.00 through to last orders at 9pm. Very nice staff the golf look Ok and there is bike hire on site also. Overall a great place for our two day bike adventure. 5 stars”
