"Bedroom and bathroom in need of upgrade. Lots of dirty marks on bedroom walls, faulty bedside light, paint peeling on window cills, net curtains coming apart. Bathroom - broken plug on hand basin, cold draughts through badly fitting window, no rubber/non-slip bath mat available when requested for bath with shower over. Spectacular location, amazing views, plenty of parking, good breakfast."

"I have used this hotel many times. The extra fee for parking is just annoying. The food is generally ok but I was ill for three days following a caesar salad. One of the anchovies tasted rather funky, and oddly the waitress kept coming round looking worried and asking if my meal was ok. I found out a few hours later that it really wasn't!"

"Clean room and decorated really well but sharp and direct staff upon entry. No restaurant despite advertised as such, It is now only open until 4 as it only serves brunch. Walls paper thin, rooms tiny and breakfast was very bad. Cooked breakfast available but poor choice and only chicken sausages and turkey bacon. No turkey bacon available, no avocado available, no mushrooms available. Poached eggs were full of water when cut open Just a bit a great experience. Looks nice at first glance but peel back the layers and it’s not very good at all."

"Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. "
