"The location was beautiful, the rooms were perfect, but what made this resort so great was the service! When an electrical breaker malfunctioned in our room, Dream, Siam, and their manager, Yao, went above and beyond our expectations! They made sure that our stay was special. The breakfast buffet each morning was very nice. The fire show on the beach (free for guests) was awesome. And the onsite restaurant had a good variety of food, and it was nice to sit on the patio and watch the ocean waves. The next time we are in Thailand, this will be the place we stay!"

"Wonderful staff, excellent food, everything was perfect except the beach. We found the amount of trash disappointing and in total contrast to the rest of the resort. Obviously you can only keep up so much when things wash up every day but there was a fair amount of trash located along the edge/in the trees which the tide clearly does not reach."

"We had a great time during our stay at Vedranda resort. Personally for me, the staff stood out the most. They really do go above & beyond for you. It wouldn’t be fair to mention particular names as they were all great. Yes,I highly recommend this resort. What is there not to love, excellent food, stunning scenery, clean rooms & polite, kind, humble staff who actually want to talk to you with a smile. They all deserve a pay rise for their hard work. Best holiday ever, I was sad to leave. 😢 "

"The location is excellent - the hotel is on the cape with a private beach, with many loungers and a beach cafe restaurant and the Panwa House. All excellent views etc. We were in a suite, excellent size but... The hotel is aging. The air conditioning units, for example, must have been quite old, the plastic was faded to that off yellow colour that the old systems get. The whole property walking around was just noisy from the AC condenser units churning away. In addition, the restaurant extractor fan (a huge industrial chute) was on the outside of the room. Together, the hotel just 'hums' all the time. It's not very peaceful. Nearly everything needs to be modernised or renovated. The path to the toilets on the beach is a case in point, all crazy paving, poorly laid, some sinking into the floor, hardly 5 star, more like beach hut. In the week we were there, we cannot remember any of the cafe staff (where breakfast is served) smiling or engaging happily with the guests (except for the manager ticking off the room in the morning). We also went to the reception desk and the staff there just ignored us even though we'd been waiting, again, grumpy looks, no smiles. Poor attitude. Finally, the food...all well cooked but (and this was true for EVERY meal), the dishes turned up at random times and at least one 'hot' dish would be cold! As a supposedly 5 star hotel, the quality of the staff, facilities and the overall experience is nowhere near to achieve a 5 star review rating. "
