โStaff is great here and super helpful. Breakfast was pretty decent. Room was clean. Parking lot was huge for people with trailers. What more could you want??? โ
โI stayed by my teammates. Very close to baseball fields.
My only complaints are its dark, lights limited the tiny lamps most didn't work, the tables they were on were lower than the bed.
Shower head flow was hard to remove soap provided. โ
โThe Brookside Inn of Laurens is a wonderful find. The owner clearly cares deeply about making his guests feel welcome and well cared for. He makes fresh breakfast every morning, which are simple but excellent and he will work with you to accommodate special dietary needs within reason. The rooms are all color coordinated and he has updated electrical outlets to include some built in USB outlets. Small details like this can be found throughout the rooms and house. โ
โStaff was friendly, dietary options, bed was comfortable, water containers in room with comfotable lounger. Loved the power strip to accomodate my electronics. What can be improved is the parking for larger vehicles but a space was found for my husbands truck. Though the bathroom was tight, the room was spacious. Cooperstown is quiet but you feel relaxed and refreshed after your stay.โ
โThe Property is in an ideal location for exploring Cooperstown on foot and was Clean with very friendly staff. About 3 minutes to Hall of Fame and no more than 6-8 minutes to all the shops, bars and restaurants on Main St or you can eat at the restaurant on property which was very good. โ
โThe cottage we stayed in was adorable with our own little porch. John was so welcoming. The food for breakfast looked amazing even though we didnโt have the chance to eat. They offer thoughtful touches like a sโmores set up for you if you want to sit by the fire pit and fresh cookies to take during the day. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in Cooperstown. โ
