A lovely night at The Grand Colonial

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way east. The hotel is a period property and very well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and very generous.

Excellent B&B with Amazing service

This is an excellent B&B, and the owner Mike provides excellent service, right from even before we checked in all the way through to breakfast and our check out. The accommodations are excellent and comfortable, and the made to order breakfast was amazing. As a bonus, we got to meet the other guests and had some great conversations.

My wife and I came here to stay when we were on a college family weekend. It’s beautiful. The decor is old colonial- very quaint and notable. Everything is clean and meticulous. The room was private and quiet. Mike asked us what we would like to have for breakfast and he did not disappoint! He served us an all star breakfast! The stay was an amazing overall experience. We would definitely come back.

Mike was there to greet us at check in. Gave us a bottle water and a tour of the beautiful home. Bathroom was immaculate. Towels and bathrobes were plush. Bed was comfortable. The portable fan was a welcome addition. Breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful! And the drive to Cooperstown was lovely.
