Nice Stay

This was our second year staying here, and once again we had a wonderful experience. Matt and his kids are incredibly welcoming, and the homemade breakfast was delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Matt and his family were absolutely amazing hosts. The BNB is an easy drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park and All Star Village. Room was great and the breakfast and company were even better. Highly recommend!!

Whether you are passing through, staying for Cooperstown All-Star Villiage, or Dreams Park, this is a great location. Its an historic home with modern functionality, and Matt is an awesome host. There was a delicious, real home cooked breakfast each morning, and he provides great recommendations for dining, and desserts, all just a short drive from the property.

This was a great place for the 1 night we needed. Very clean and the service from Matt & his family was outstanding. Very neat, old home that looks like it’s having some updates. Breakfast was wonderful and homemade by Matt himself. Lovely stay!

Wonderful experience

The Brookside Inn of Laurens is a wonderful find. The owner clearly cares deeply about making his guests feel welcome and well cared for. He makes fresh breakfast every morning, which are simple but excellent and he will work with you to accommodate special dietary needs within reason. The rooms are all color coordinated and he has updated electrical outlets to include some built in USB outlets. Small details like this can be found throughout the rooms and house.

The location was a good location for us to spend the night in the Cooperstown area. The outside of the property is not exactly as pictured right now. I hope it is a work in progress. The inside was fine. The room was good and we had a private bathroom. The owner, Matt, is very nice and he made a wonderful breakfast! We enjoyed our short stay.

Quaint, historic building with beautiful, individually decorated rooms…one or more with private bath. Owner Matt is fabulous, helpful, and a Fantastic Chef!! Breakfast of pancakes, sausages, and eggs was delicious, and the fresh-brewed coffee was too. Perfect!!

I really appreciated that the owner texted us beforehand to check on our arrival time so he could be there to greet and welcome us. The property is in need of some TLC, but at the same time, it was a welcome escape from the cookie cutter chain hotels by the interstate. Good place to stay while visiting Cooperstown of the southern tier.
