"I would really call this a “budget hotel” it was quite expensive even when booking in the off season and in advance. A standard hotel in the city centre that was easily walkable from the train/bus stations within walkable access to UCC as well. My biggest gripe was that the windows couldn’t be opened (even though it said fresh air was flowing in) and that the hotel was right near construction. But with the limited options in Cork this was a decent place."

"The service -- warmth, responsiveness, sense of humour -- of the staff were the best we have ever experienced. Ditto for the quality of the breakfast as well -- incredible variety of fresh, mostly locally sourced items so that even the continental option was an array of choices unlike any other of this type. Our room was luxurious: super comfy bed, gorgeous view, space, niceties in the room for making espresso, tea or regular coffee."

"If you ask for a quiet room check the room first as they put us near noisy extractor fans/ air con. Called reception and they moved us to a lovely quiet room. Breakfast excellent as were our dinners Not all water jets working in spa but it didn't deter from our experience. Train station 10min walk 1 stop to Cork highly recommend using train to visit the city."
