"The property was convenient to tube and rail facilities, and there were several good restaurants in the area. The property was also very cleaned and well maintained. The staff was also courteous and very friendly. We did run into one issue in that the air conditioner only cooled the room down to an estimated 79-80 degrees. In fairness, temperatures in London were in the low 90s during our stay. The staff did send maintenance to clean the filter in the room, but that had no impact. Staff also told us AC units don’t work that well during times of high temperatures. It would have been nice if they would have offered to move us to a different room instead of having to go through a few miserably hot nights."

"Here’s a more polished and professional version that still conveys your disappointment: It was my first time in London, and I chose this hotel primarily because of its excellent location, which did not disappoint. The hotel itself has great potential, and the facilities were enjoyable. Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by the service at the front desk. I found several staff members to be unprofessional and unhelpful, which made what should have been an exciting trip much less enjoyable. It’s a shame because the hotel and its location are truly great. With better customer service and a more welcoming attitude from the reception team, this could be an outstanding place to stay. I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve the guest experience, as the staff’s behavior left such a negative impression that I would hesitate to return despite all the hotel’s positive qualities."

"It was clean. But the check in wasn’t till 3. They charged $50 for an early check in which is fine & acceptable. The part that got to me was that they didn’t hold your bags. Usually hotels hold your luggage till your room is ready. They don’t. You would have to pay about $20 per bag. Or pay the early check in."

"The view is amazing. My daughter had a larger window rm933 with a Tower Bridge view that was spectacular. The only challenge was trying to keep the room cool. They offer fans which is helpful. I had a corner room that was smaller with a smaller window. It didn’t seem to get as hot and had the same great view. Rm953 we all agreed the view was worth it! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was always very helpful"

"From the moment you step into the doors, the Royal Horseguards feels cozy, clean, and very welcoming! The staff was so kind and accommodating. They had umbrellas to borrow for the rainy days in case you don’t have one. We had a twin bed standard room which was very clean with fresh AC, comfty beds, and hot water. The location of the hotel is central to everything you need for sightseeing, restaurants, and getting around to the underground (Embankment was the closest). Awesome experience and stay! I would highly recommend!"
