Stay Wise Inn Cedaredge

"Great location with easy walking to the town’s Main Street shops and perfect base for access to the Grand Mesa. Lack of an elevator may be an issue for some. Only real disappointment was the state of the air conditioning unit. It was very loud, lacked ability to adjust fan level, and obviously in need of a clean filter. We turned off unit and opened the window which worked out fine given the cool Fall air."

"This was a beautiful setting, just off the highway. Vineyard views, lovely planters and landscaping. The room was nice--would have been nice to have a second occasional chair. It was clean and nicely decorated; the bathroom was clean and had a walk in shower. We took advantage of the free wine reception evenings. There is a nice bar and casual restaurant on site and another more formal one. Provided buffet breakfast was very good. The outdoor pool area was lovely, although we did not use it. A winery (affiliated with the hotel) was within walking distance. Check in and housekeeping staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay."

"The Riverwood Resort is a small, but conveniently located hotel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately our experience was disrupted by a water / sewer problem impacting the hotel building. Staff reacted promptly and were accommodating, Since we chose to move to another hotel, we received a prompt refund for the second night of our 2 night stay."

"Clean and beds were comfortable. They are using portable heaters so not the warmest but we were not in the cabin much during the day. The view of lake is nice. They forgot to stock extra rolls of toliet paper so we had to go to the lodge to get more. Breakfast is one cereal or instant oatmeal and only available for an hour. The owners were pleasant. They did not respond in the app so you have to call them. "
