"Sure was glad we had a reservation, as when we arrived, there was a "Sorry, sold out" sign on the door. We had just finished a marathon 13 hour drive from Vancouver Island. It's an older place, but well maintained. Nice big freezer in the fridge. A pretty large coffee pot for morning. Look for the little sign/diagram how to use the shower. It's beside the mirror in the bathroom. I've never seen a "turn on the shower" device like the one in our room and I was quite frustrated trying to use the shower... until I saw the sign! A bit noisy from the traffic, but the beds were clean and comfortable."

"Hotel room was showing some wear in the bathroom. Clean rooms with comfy beds. You could hear noise from adjoining rooms and rooms above. There were young sports teams staying there and full of energy. Things calmed down by 11 pm. We did not take advantage of any of the amenities. "

"Was the worst room we have ever stayed in. There was a dilapidated old chair in the corner which when moved had an empty vodka bottle behind it. The chair was vinyl and peeling on the arms and seat. Looked like it had come out of the dump. The chair at the desk was not safe to sit on. Traffic noise made it almost impossible to sleep. The air conditioner was musty smelling. We didn’t stay for breakfast because we were in too much of a hurry to leave."

"Room was comfortable and amenities were good Nice bar and restaurant large windows to see views of mountains and river. Only downside is the proximity to the main Hwy 3 close for accessibility but a little noisy. All in all pretty good place to stay."

"The bathroom was NOT clean. There was urine on the toilet base, the light fixture was splattered with something red and had a layer of dirt on it, the light switch plate and wall underneath were dirty. The cloth chair had a large stain on the seat. The floor lamp switch was broken you had to plug and unplug it. Breakfast was minimal. There was a hot plate with nothing in it, pancake machine made rubber pancakes. There needs to be more attention to fine cleaning details. I did ask the cleaning staff to tend to the bathroom and chair issue, but I should not have had to. I would not stay there again for the price. Very disappointed."
