Cu Chi Tunnels Tours

This is a disguised air vent for the famous Cu Chi tunnels. Crawling through these tunnels especially the non modified ones was ridiculously humid, and hot. Yes there are ones that have been made larger for tourists, but they are tight too. We witnessed some bats so be aware. If you are claustrophobic this is not for you. The tunnels can range from 15-50m before you get to an exit tunnel. Their is much history and you can choose to shoot some weapons at the gun range. Minimum cost for 10 rounds is 300000dong and up depending on the weapon you choose.

Hotel arranged a luxury speedboat trip through Saigon River Tours. It cost about $75 each including lunch, admission, and snacks. 12 guests fit on a boat, so the group size was limited. The guide was good and took us to all the stops at Cu Chi. The boat trip (1.5 hours each way) was fun, and we were pleased not to be shuttled to factories to buy stuff as happens on bus tours.
