“The room was very nice, there was adequate parking. The breakfast was very good. The staff on reception were very polite and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. The restaurant manager was very unhelpful and rude when we had an issue with our bill, she wouldn't acknowledge us and kept sending us back and forth via waitresses to try and resolve this. “We cannot doubt that there was a lovely view from the back of the grounds overlooking the golf course. Unfortunately, it appears that the hotel itself is more of an afterthought to the golf amenities. Rooms are very dated and certainly in need of renovation. Bath robes not included in the room which proved tricky trying to get to the pool and back as you don’t want to put your clothes over a partially wet body that wants to just jump in the shower back in the room. “Its was a nice place to stay apart from the staff asking if we could smell weed! I think it may have been my tattoos that made them single us out however we had been out for the evening so we felt a bit like we were not welcome and if it wasn't so late I would have moved hotels.”
