Highly recommended! I’ve been to this hotel twice and have never felt disappointed. This is a really cozy hotel with a beautiful courtyard. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, including regional fruits and breads amongst others. The omelette is superb as well. I will definitely book my stay at this hotel for coming trips to Cusco. Thank you!

We had a cancelled flight followed by a changed itinerary to Machu Picchu which meant we unfortunately only got to spend about 6hrs here however in that time, the staff were so helpful with coordinating taxi transfer late at night, preparing a breakfast to take away last minute and allowing us to store our bags for 2 days. The room was cosy, comfortable bed and a hot shower which was so needed. The location of the property which got to be a bit more explored prior to taking our bags is wonderful with lots of boutique shops, restaurants (including vegetarian) and bars though be mindful there are some steep hills to access it if accessibility is a consideration. Would absolutely stay here again if I came back to Cusco.

Hotel Huascaran is a nice small hotel near the city center. Staff were very nice, helpful and considerate. Property is pretty, a light breakfast is included and they have 24 hour reception. Rooms are basic but clean. May want to bring a washcloth, they don’t have them (or anywhere in Cusco really). We enjoyed our stay!

The staff was so helpful from allowing us to store our large luggage while we went to Machu Picchu to arranging a special last minute tour to the Sacred Valley as well as preparing a nice breakfast with made to order eggs. This is a small family run hotel, centrally located, well run and a very nice place to stay.

This property is beautiful. It’s just a few blocks from the plaza. Best of all, the staff were incredible. My son broke his glasses while on the trip and the receptionist walked with us to the optometrist. We couldn’t find someone to fix them but she went from one store to the next until we found someone. She went above and beyond to help us. Both Vanessa and Joshua went above and beyond for us. They are so kind and hospitable

It’s a cozy atmosphere. Front desk was really nice and accommodating. The woman handling breakfast was working very hard and did a great job. I really appreciated her. She made my mornings start off nicely and she always kept everything clean and supplied. She is great. Some rooms need updating and they need to put towel racks in bathrooms. They cleaned daily which was nice.

The staff is very friendly and nice. The room is warm and makes sleeping in the cold weather easier. However, the hotel is noisy. The doors, walls, and windows are thin. you could hear every door close, the staff yelling at each other asking for stuff so sleep was not very restful. The breakfast is very, very basic and will likely not leave you satisfied.
