"Hotel showings its age a bit but large, clean rooms and a great location. FREE secured parking behind the hotel. Hard to get that in New Orleans and it was a deciding factor for us. Would return."

"The room with one King bed was large and comfortable with good bedside lighting. The amenities in the bathroom were standard and minimal. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for the shower/bath, one small soap and lotion. But towels were generous."

"This is an excellent boutique hotel on St. Charles Avenue with on-site self parking and easy access to the streetcar to move about if you don't feel like walking (the streetcar runs down the center of St. Charles). The front desk staff was friendly (Geoffrey was extremely helpful and attentive.) My only complaint is that the towels in the room seemed a bit worn and not fitting for a higher quality hotel. This is an easy fix -- if they order some new towels. There are many restaurants lining St. Charles Avenue, and if you wanna mix it up with the locals after hours, there's a dive bar called Igor's just a few doors down from the hotel. On my last night, I grabbed some cheap deli Brother's Fried Chicken from the convenience store on the corner and ate it while drinking a beer sitting outside Igor's. The DJ was playing old school R&B, and I sat there and chilled until I got sleepy, then took the few steps to the hotel and crashed. All in all this is a good quiet hotel on an interesting street. I'll stay here again."
