Pullman Kuching
8/10 Good
"The Pullman Kuching is a great choice for anyone travelling to this part of the world. We found the family room (king bed and king single) to be perfect for our needs. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and they epitomize the cultural harmony Sarawak is famous for. There was some renovation work being done during our stay, but it was no inconvenience at all. Our ten day stay was wonderful as we introduced our grandson to this part of the world. The hotel is a short walk to the Bazaar and many diverse eateries, and there's a very handy supermarket and food court in the same block as the hotel. Our breakfasts were a treat with new offerings on a daily basis and very good coffee. The huge swimming pool, spa and gym are immaculate with a child friendly area for those with little ones. The Junction lounge was a great place to relax and cool down after a day exploring. The complimentary snacks were a bonus too. A shout out to the staff... from reception, breakfast and housekeeping, they made us feel welcome and at home during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for conferences to family holidays. Thank you and keep up the good work.. it is appreciated."
Hilton Kuching
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay here as a family. Location and facilities are ideal. A special mention needs to go Wan who was in charge of the pool and pool Bar. He was such a genuine helpful happy person and made some great drinks. He gave us some ideas and local places to try which were brilliant. Thanks Wan."
Sheraton Kuching Hotel

"Excellent"
The Marian Boutique Lodging House
8/10 Good
"A hotel within a historical building, great location, a pool, nice little free breakfast with amazing coffee and a huge basket of tiny bananas among other. Would return. Maybe too many stairs for disabled guests."
Grand Margherita Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Well located. Very good value for the money."
The Ranee Boutique Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Loved my stay at Ranee. Great location, amazing and friendly staff and beautiful rooms. Wish I could have stayed longer and would definitely stay again if I am lucky enough to return to Kuching. Thank you to all the staff at Ranee. Fantastic hotel in a fantastic city!"
Cove 55
10/10 Excellent
"Cove 55 was the perfect finale to our family trip. Tucked between the slopes of Mount Santubong and the South China Sea, it feels like a private retreat — our room was spacious, spotless, and so quiet at night that all we heard was the jungle. But it’s the people who made our stay. The team helped us arrange our trips to the Semenggoh orangutans and a wetland cruise, and thought of every detail so that traveling with three generations felt effortless. Breakfast was wonderful — Western and local Sarawakian dishes both — and dinner by the pool at sunset was the highlight of our whole Malaysia trip. We left rested and already planning to come back."
The Village House
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful staff, room and grounds. Great for visiting Sarawak Cultural Village, climbing the nearby mountain and strollinv the each nearby."
Permai Rainforest Resort
8/10 Good
"This was a cabin in the rainforest, so in the thick of nature. Sadly for us, it rained during our whole stay. I think its an amazing location for getting away and seeing wildlife on your doorstep. There are on resort things that you can pay for like bat walk, kayaking, high ropes and boat trips. There are also self guided trails. I think if you are staying longer than a few days, you may run out of activities. I also thought the boat trip was a bit pricey considering others we had been on in Malaysia. The staff were friendly and answered all concerns. There is no Wifi in the cabins and even our eSIMs struggled with reception. The rooms could do with a few more amenities like hooks, iron, hairdryer, more sockets and wifi. The fridge and kettle were welcome. The breakfast was lovely with a variety and changed daily. You can order a meal or even to your cabin from the restaurant, but we wanted a few more options. They also do yummy milkshakes. The restaurant is a lovely place to relax as there is wildlife around and you are practically on the beach. It also had Wifi. You can get laundry done, but it needs to be requested - no option to do yourself. There is a small shop at reception, but not well stocked and seemed musty. The 'second' beach really needs better steps sorted so you can get to it safely. We didn't use the jungle pool - my kids were very suspicious. City centre is 1 hr drive & Grabs don't come I loved this resort, but a few improvements could be even better!"
