“Daily Tidy of the room, very good walk in shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast first class and off road parking. Altogether comfy and quiet!”

“The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side. Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great. Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend”

“We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire.”

“The hotel has basic furniture, no wardrobes or drawers for putting personal items out of view. The wash basin sink took ages to empty. The kettle had no filter so would take longer to switch off. Breakfast food was always slightly overcooked, especially bacon and sausages. Apart from these niggles it was clean, comfortable bed (very large) changed regularly. The staff very friendly and helpful. Be aware, it only accepts card payments, No cash. Nearby there is an Asda express, a mcdonlds and a...

“Room was freezing cold, no heating on, kettle didn't work. They did offer to change our room but other room was also unheated. As check in is 2pm.We checked in at 4.40pm 14th Feb, room was icy cold. Hot water was temperamental. Room should have bern warm & water hot, Hubby had cold shower i gave that a miss.should be heated by then”
