“Didn’t love this hotel. Best thing was the staff. But the rooms are tired. The gas stoves weren’t working, so only pizzas & burgers were available and then we had a fire alarm going off at 3am. So wouldn’t go again.”

“I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.”

“I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff don’t return emails answer phones or return phone calls. Check-in ends at 9 PM and if you aren’t there you can’t get into your room. I’ve travelled the world and never in my life had such bad customer service. The Travelodge however has excellent staff clean rooms and comfortable beds. At nearly half the price is an exceptionally better value.”
