“I selected here because of close to Timberline Ski Resort during last ski season. In peak season it needs to book ahead of a month. Room was small, but super friendly staff and comfortable bed, clean room. Best one is good room rates if booking available in Canaan Valley. Recommend strongly!”

“Had to park quite a distance from the hotel parking is very limited”

“I was in town for a wedding. Motel was only 20 minutes away from site. The gentleman that checked me in and out was great! I think he also did double duty cleaning the rooms. I had a handicapped room, dealing with a broken hip and knee. Room was amazing! The restaurant next door was nice too!”

“Pro tip: don't try to find this place in the dark! We were lucky to find someone who could point out the street to us. Little to no GPS or cell service in the area so download your directions and room info ahead of time. Inn was lovely. Beautifully restored and maintained. Breakfast was self-serve and adequate. Rooms were beautiful and beds were comfy. We had a little trouble finding our rooms due to the lack of cell service so couldn't pull up the email. Had to wake up the poor owner at 10 at...

“The staff was Amazing very friendly and professional. Good breakfast and coffee always fresh.”

“This little cabin was the perfect getaway for me and my husband!! It is beautiful!!”

“Great breakfast”

“The property was very nice, the rooms and amenities were very clean. It was a cute little spot, I recommend staying if you're in the area! Our bed sagged a little in the middle but otherwise we had no issues with our stay.”

“Definitely a unique hotel in a sea of exact same corporate chains”

“When we checked in were informed that we received a “highly discounted rate” for our room, which was never shown on Expedia. That explanation was given to us because the room we stayed in was detached from the main property, and it sat in a lot facing an auto body shop. There was no deadbolt/additional locking system on the door, which faced a commercial lot. The comforter had a large white stain on the top cover, which looked encrusted onto the top side. The ceiling light fixture was hanging...

“When we arrived to the Garrett Inn, we were able to check in, and were given a key to the room, and told where to park (each room's number was plainly painted on the space for each room, however, due to the configuration of the parking lot vs the way the room's were situated, the parking spaces were off-set from the individual rooms, so when parked for the room assigned, the space was two spaces offset. The room was well appointed, two full beds, a bathroom with a pocket door, a small table...

“I would highly recommend it”
