“We really enjoyed our stay in Herold’s bay, our host was in touch with us on the lead up to the stay and then met us on the location and helped us with parking, she was very friendly. The room had a wonderful view over the beach and we loved the convenience of the restaurant next door to our stay. It had everything we needed for our night’s stay before heading off to George airport the following morning.”

“First: The property is hard to find. Looking for 23 Lang Street per Expedia. But you have to enter 25 Lang Street. Why can’t they provide accurate directions? Very poor start. Second: The room is huge and clean and well-appointed. Oh wait, the architect forgot something. How about a bathroom door ! And bathroom walls that reach the ceiling! This place is for monkeys, not humans. Made for a unique experience that I’ll hope to not repeat. Somebody didn’t think this place through.”

“To our surprise, the property was Excellent! We didn't expect much, as this was a quick stop, on our way back to Port Elizabeth, from Cape Town. It was a perfect stop for an overnight stay. However, when we arrived, we were surprised to find out that there was a casino connected to the property and the place was fully guarded and protected. We felt 100% safe. Main restaurant isn't open for dinner so you either eat at the sports bar nearby or have to travel into a restaurant in George. We stay here for the golf, which is great but will probably go elsewhere next time around.”
