Room very very noisey due to no DOUBLE OR SECONDARY GLAZING just orginal sash windows, Could only get to sleep once to pubs had shut due to noise.

Location was perfect.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Everything was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Within walking distance to everywhere. Deal is such a lovely place.

Lovely pub right on the beach. Fantastic breakfasts and lovely staff. Only criticism is Expedia. If you book the room direct with the property it is the same price as Expedia but includes breakfast. With Expedia, breakfast is extra. Annoying.

Ticks all the boxes for a great break
Easy friendly check in at the pub and then shown to room in the building a couple of doors along. We had a top floor room with sea view. Room was large with big bathroom. Very clean and fresh smelling throughout whole building. Bed was comfortable. Good range of drinks in pub and the food was excellent - we had dinner and breakfast there. Would definitely stay here again - location, cleanliness, great pub and smiling friendly staff.

Kings head Deal
We stayed in room 5 at the top of the building with a view of the channel Maybe minor details but for the price of £100 per night , I found the bed , although large it was uncomfortable the duvet cover had a torn hole in one side , only one cup was provided for two people in the room ( just an oversight) tried the complimentary biscuits but they were stale . Narrow staircases to climb two flights and vey noisey in the morning from the traffic , the room rate does not include breakfast but can be purchased in the bar . On the plus side a nice view and a modern bathroom with a great shower and a nice bar and restaurant

Fantastic location by the beach, very xlose to the town and not far from the train station. Great staff and a hood pub

Friendly staff
Good location although parking not on site. On street paid parking available or round the corner in library car park. Staff and Graham the landlord were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Will stay again if playing golf in the area.

Disappointed
Room quite shabby, dusty cold and complete with cobwebs. Redeeming feature was the wonderful shower that I tried even though the bathroom was ice cold with no heating.was also only told when enquiring about breakfast that it wasn’t included if we didn’t book direct.

One night stay. Lovely cosy room, very clean and comfortable. Friendly, efficient service for checking in and out, plus a great bar. We will return.

Traditional Pub atmosphere
Although the front facade was lined with scaffolding once we stepped into the pub entrance, which is also the hotel entrance, we were greeted by a cozy warm fire and a traditional pub ambiance. Our rear facing upstairs room had no view to speak of but it was warm & cosy. No free breakfast on offer. Situated on the waterfront and less than 500m from the train station this convenient establishment met our expectations.

We had the twin room which was at channel view and it was lovely and clean and over looked the sea . We would definiteley would stay here again

Such a beautiful spot with the most amazing views. Pretty floral window boxes frame the view of the Channel. I loved the shower. Breakfast was amazing and fabulous value for money. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. A memorable stay - will definitely stay here when back in the area.

Thought we booked a Bed and Breakfast. Check before you book through Expedia as breakfast not included. Also check your account for the payment otherwise the venue will try and charge you again. Not the venues fault but Expedia not passing money on.

Another nice stay
Another nice stay at the Kings Head. We were in the main pub, nice room looking over the beach. Bathroom with great shower. Hospitality tray, ironing board, hair dryer all supplied. Free wi-fi. Bed had bit of a dip in it, but was still comfortable. Staff were all very pleasant at check in and at breakfast. Nice breakfast, choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and cooked. There is no car parking at the hotel but there is a public car park nearby. Overall good, however the only problem for me was that being a Saturday night there was a band on and we were above the bar area and I am a very light sleeper! We will be returning.

Lovely, very clean room with wonderful views of the sea and the pier. Excellent shower and very comfortable beds. A super position for getting everywhere. We didn’t have breakfast but the evening menu was very good.

Pleasant overnight stay in Deal
Nice hotel, very suitable for an overnight stay in Deal. Central location, close to car park which is important as no hotel parking. Efficient check in & out with pleasant staff. Room was small but clean & comfortable although bed could do with better mattress. Nice bathroom which seemed recently refurbished with excellent shower.

A gem of a place with a real buzz about it. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, clean room, comfy bed, great shower, good breakfast. Nothing else needed!
