โLoved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. Great work by the hotel owners - shows you can run an historic hotel in a great location but still make it affordable to all visitorsโ
โBrilliant stay in a fantastic cottage. Very kind and communicative owners, who were very generous in their welcome gesture towards me. The cottage is immaculately clean and has everything you could wish for for a short and longer stay. The cottage is very spacious and also peaceful and quiet so you can enjoy a truly relaxing time away. Great location to explore the coastline or Kent in land. I would love to come back in future to have the same experience again. Thanks for everything. โ
โVery good value and the breakfast is a bargain.
Visiting in a heatwave, it perhaps wasn't ideal to be in one of the south facing bay window rooms with a sea view as it got quite hot, but any other time of year would be fine.
The shower was a little on the small side but worked fine.โ
โDoes the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.โ
โThe hotel and gardens are beautiful - immaculate garden perfect for a pre dinner cocktail. Was very impressed with the decor and high standard of furnishings - should be a wedding venue or offer cream teas. We had an amazing dinner - cannot fault the food or drink!! โ

โI booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....
