"For what we paid, this was excellent value for money. The room was a little dated, but perfectly comfortable and the bathroom has been returned very nicely. Really helpful staff, super clean room and breakfast was relatively basic, but had several options and was plentiful. It doesn't have many frills.....but you are paying a no frills price. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again"

"Very nice stay in a comfortable, clean hotel. Friendly staff and an excellent location on on the sea front made this a very nice stay. Restaurant was well attended and food was ok. Breakfast was available as continental and cooked and prices were reasonable. Personally I appreciated having onsite parking and EV charging facilities. I will return here again"

"Before arriving and after reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned but don’t believe all the bad reviews. Fantastic hotel, the staff were amazing, very accommodating. Especially the two men in the restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. We opted for a double deluxe with balcony sea view. When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Very pleasantly surprised by the Trecarn Hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book an extra night. Our experience certainly didn’t reflect many of the ratings and reviews we had read. The location is amazing, our room was clean and exactly as advertised, and it had a modern TV. The hotel was quite hot for some reason, but fans were provided, which helped. The staff were lovely especially the chambermaids, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here. We’ve paid twice the price elsewhere and not had as good an experience."
