A unique place. Our room was warm and cosy. Restaurant was a high standard and reasonably priced. Love the Spa. Overall a good experience but some areas do look a little tired. I would recommend this hotel. Be aware of the £15 a night parking charge if you don’t book direct at the hotel’s price. The nearby council carpark is £11 for 24 hours, and street parking around the hotel is unrestricted and free.

Wonderful one night stay. Huge beautiful room, air conditioning was a bonus in this heat. Loved using the spa facilities and outdoor pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Excellent breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very nice, pool and spa were lovely and food was good. My only complaint about the room would be that the bed was too hard. The hotel is on a steep hill so if, like me, you have health issues you'll need to get a taxi back from the centre of Torquay.

This was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind . tranquil from start to finish . Spa was amazing , food was delicious and the cosy king room was perfect in size with a very comfy bed. This amazing hotel well surpassed our expectations. Beautifully modernised and equipped with quality fittings everywhere. Our stay coincided with some sunny hot weather so the outdoor pool, jacuzzi and bar facilities were in full use but still plenty of sun loungers and great service. New indoor pool and spa were simply fabulous, very clean, quiet and well maintained. Breakfasts were that perfect combination of extensive help yourself cold buffet and freshly cooked to order hot food from a super menu including my favourite Eggs Benedict. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Very enjoyable short break in Torquay. Hotel was very nice, comfortable and the facilities in the spa and pool exceptional. Only slight criticism is that we found the menu for dinner in the restaurant quite restrictive with no specials available. Food was fine but options not great. Would definitely return to hotel but wouldn't have evening meal there again.
