โWe had a wonderful stay at Compass Rose Lodge. Itโs clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curatedโfrom the mint truffles on the bed to the excellent coffee and sandwiches available on-site.
One of the highlights was the observatory tour. It wasnโt just a peek at the stars; it included a brief tour of the property and its rich history, including a scale model of the solar system with the sun right there on the grounds! โWe had a great stay. The only issue is that the freeway is right next to the property and is quite noisy. You may want to ask the front desk for earplugs- hopefully you get the friendliest service you could ask for from Abby. She was incredible and did everything she could to ensure that we were comfortable. โ
โWe stayed here traveling from the PNW back home to Iowa. We stayed here for the Great Salt Lake. Wish we would have stayed closer to the airport because the drive added 35 miles to my drive. Oops. Great breakfast, rooms were clean and updated. The staff were mostly pleasant. We don't normally stay in the upper scale places, but this was a nice place. โ
