"The best part was the excellent bed and overall cleanliness of the linens, room, and public areas. The check-in was slow, even though I'd already paid online weeks before and the staff was not very engaging. This property is apparently undergoing massive renovation, so much of it was closed off, including the pool. The entry portico was damaged and parts were laying about on the ground. Based on first appearances and check-in, I was unsure about staying there the full 3 nights we had reserved. However, the room was a pleasant surpise. Small, especially the bathroom, but the shower was good, the fridge worked (even re-froze my ice packs), and the key card worked easily. Note: even though the website didn't mention complimentary breakfast, a modest one was available in a large and comfortable room. "
