“Caravogue House is a lovely gem in Trim. It’s within walking distance to town center and trim castle. The house itself is lovely and has private off street parking. Everything was very clean and the owners are super friendly. We had a family room which was perfect for us and our two teenaged children. Private bathroom with a great strong and hot shower. Breakfast was made to order and tasted amazing. It was a perfect place to stay before heading to the airport the next morning. A perfect wrap up...

“The hotel is in a great location with free parking. Very nice hotel building. Our room (Deluxe King) was spacious though the window was high - you do not have a view if you're just about 5ft tall. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable because the pillows and comforter were just right for us. Our booking included breakfast but we had to leave at 6am so the hotel arranged breakfast bags for us. While we appreciate that, it's disappointing that my husband didn't get the cup of coffee...

“My stay would've been great. However, I booked a king sized bed and paid for it through Expedia and was given a room with a double bed. When I called the front desk on arriving at my room to find a double bed I was told that there were no king beds available. They made no offer of compensating me for the price difference. No attempt whatsoever to try to satisfy our complaint. A full-blown bait & switch. Reading the fine it basically says that they can give you whatever room they want and...

“This is our second time at this establishment. Very clean and up-to-date cottage. The shower was wonderful and the bed, comfortable. Very quiet area on a working farm with cows & sheep.”

“Check in front desk girl was very friendly. The photos are a bit deceiving as to what the property was truly like. None of the saunas were part of the hotel - not even an option. Our room faced the road not the water. Over priced for what we got.”
