This place was a real gem! We walked inside and were welcomed by cozy antique furnishings and our room close by. The sitting area and living room were very comfortable and welcoming, and the gardens and outdoor seating were also pleasant. The host and his daughter were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and cooked to order. Yum! Parking was behind the building. We would stay here again!

What a nice experience. We stayed in the Bluebell room which had an enclosed porch and private entrance. It was very clean, cozy and well appointed. The star of the show was Carl's (the owner) gourmet breakfast. It was delicious! Bailey (Carl's daughter and second in command) provided helpful advise. We also loved the location. It was in walking distance of the Botanical Gardens and very close to the Capitol building.

This historic B&B was all that we expected. The room was large with 2 comfortable chairs & a King bed. Bathroom was also a good size. The Innkeeper & his daughter were very nice & welcoming. The breakfasts, which were included in the price, were excellent. We were able to eat outside in a lush garden setting for our 3 night stay. Great location close to restaurants etc. Would highly recommend this B&B.

If you’re thinking about staying here, you will not regret it. My husband and I stayed here for three nights in the Forget/Me-Not room. It was so cozy and perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I especially liked waking up each morning to the smell of bacon cooking and my husband went downstairs each morning around 6 AM to get a French press maker of our coffee. It was so delicious. They breakfast each of those mornings prepared by the chef was absolutely delicious. This location is close to everything that we wanted to tour so it helped us spend our days wisely. The neighborhood is very quiet and we rarely heard a noise. I’d say just do it. You won’t regret doing this.
