"The 2 bunk + couch bed is an excellent choice for families traveling.
The space was definitely adequate for my party of 4 (including 3 large luggage, 2 medium luggage, 3 carry-on roller bags, and of course daily backpacks)
The bathroom was spacious and the toilet room and bathroom were separate which was convenient. The shower head water pressure was also good and was also very quiet.
The room could have been slightly cleaner but considering a lot of cost-effective hotels in Japan are meant for 1 or 2 people, there was very little to complain about for my 5-person room. Also this room was on the first floor and the bottom of the door still had enough crack space to let a bug or 2 in the room. Not a deal-breaker but I did have to remove a spider during our stay.
The concierge was great and very accomodating. You can leave your luggage with the front desk staff while you walk around so long as you have future accomodations or it's your checkout day. Even if you don't speak Japanese they are very accomodating using a translation device.
Also the AC can get very cold and anyone who visits Japan between June to September will desperately need a good working AC so bonus star on this one.
There's also a coin laundry in the basement which was convenient
All in all a great stay and I would stay there again. The only thing I would change is plugging the bottom of the door to prevent bugs from getting in, but a small issue overall."
"The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and big, the food was great. The view of the garden was fantastic! The sea of clouds and fireflies were magical!"
"Room is very small, but has everything. The TV main screen provides helpful information. For the cafe downstairs, you need to buy vouchers first to enjoy a meal if you don't purchase with the room ahead of time. Convenient location, very easy to find. Hotel provides free umbrellas for guests to use. If you have 3 people in your group, better book 1 double and 1 single rooms. Single room was only $10 cheaper for us."
