Such a good hotel with fantastic staff and a great guest community. The beach is RIGHT THERE you can’t get any closer. Sea Oats is absolutely charming and exactly what I was looking for.

It’s better suited for a longer term stay than the overnight we did. I liked that there was a dehumidifier in the room to combat the dampness from the sea air. Front desk person, 8/24 I didn’t get her name, was friendly, efficient, and put up with my bad jokes.

I really enjoyed my stay. I was scared because some of the reviews and was about to cancel. I decided to take the chance and it was so worth it. The room was so clean you could smell the freshness as soon as you stepped in. The view was amazing and just feet from the beach. Everything was in close proximity to the motel. This motel is definitely worth the stay and the price is super affordable for such a great stay.

The location of the property was perfect. 3 blocks from a busy shopping center and the main strip. The beach was beautiful and the views and sunset breathtaking. The staff was very helpful and warm. We were able to get into our room at 3 instead of 4 which was most helpful after a long trip and senior mother. The hotel having a kitchenette and coffee available before we could get out was so helpful. The room was a nice large size and everything was very clean. We will be booking this property again it was worth every penny! Thank you to the staff for helping with a seamless checkin and calmness. The pictures are views from our balcony.

I was extremely disappointed with the condition of our room at the Sea Oats Motel. Unfortunately, there were several cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues that made our stay uncomfortable. The bathtub was not properly cleaned and had green residue inside of it that appeared to possibly be mold. The ceiling was also torn and damaged, which made the room look poorly maintained. The furniture was outdated and in bad condition, including a dresser that was actually missing its top drawers. The most concerning issue was the balcony door. The door did not properly lock, and instead of having a functioning lock, there was a handmade wooden stick placed in the doorway to prevent the sliding balcony door from opening. This was a major safety and security concern, especially when staying overnight in a hotel. On top of all of this, the Wi-Fi did not work in the room we were given. Overall, the room was not in the condition I would expect from a hotel or motel that is accepting paying guests. Between the dirty bathtub, damaged ceiling, broken furniture, nonfunctioning balcony door lock, and lack of working Wi-Fi, the property needs serious attention when it comes to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety. I would not recommend staying here based on the room and experience we had.
